WIDE CUTS WITH TOM MCNERNEY

This class will get rug hookers use to hooking with wide cuts (#9 and above). Tom is a big fan of hand cutting his strips and he is also a wealth of knowledge; which he generously shares with his classes.-- Lucky us! So, sign-up and have a fun day of hooking, and a fabulous lunch catered by the Fig Tree Café --all included in the price. Bring your hooking supplies, and something to hook. Draw something yourself or check out patterns that would work with wide cuts. Questions? Please give Kathy a call at the shop.

~ Punch Needle

Russian Punch 
Brief description....Russian Punch Needle is done by punching the needle (threaded with floss) down through the pattern, forming a continuous loop.  The pattern is drawn on weavers cloth.  We offer Russian Punch Needle classes throughout the year.

Complete class on Russian Punch Needle work, types of needles, flosses and backings.  If you have a needle and floss bring it along.  If not they are available at the shop.  If you have cotton floss bring it too, we can pt it to good use.

Dates:  5/18/13 10:00 – 12:00
Cost:  $25 for instruction.  Supplies can be purchased at the shop or bring your own.

~Rug Hooking

Beyond Beginners Rug Hooking

This on-going class is for people who have the basics of Rug Hooking.  We discuss the color wheel, have dyeing demonstrations, color planning and lessons on drawing patterns onto foundations to name a few topics.

Dates:  Every other Wednesday
Time:  6:30 pm – 8:30 pm
Cost:  $65 (for 4 night session)

~Penny Rug Class
This class is two evenings, Tuesday 4/30 & Monday 5/13 from 6:00 – 8:30 PM
Cost: $55 (which includes the instruction and complete kit to include pattern, wool, floss & needles).

The second Sunday of the month from 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm.  Come on over and work on any project.  It's free and the coffee is on!
