His first self-designed rug was featured as the First Rug on the Last Page of Rug Hooking Jan./Feb. 2000 edition. His rugs have been awarded "best in show" at several fairs and were twice selected for inclusion in Celebrations.
Jon teaches courses entitled Bring Animals to Life and more recently Animals and Humans coming to Life.
Students are welcome to bring their own pattern and wool or stop in before had to find something that you would like to hook. If you want a custom pattern drawn by Jon, you must contact him.
RUG HOOKING: PROBLEM SOLVING & MORE WITH JAN!!
Are you stuck? Do you need help with a rolled up project? Do you need help with color planning? Finishing? Or maybe just getting started? Jan can help you get back on track. 2012 is the time to finish your UFO's (unfinished objects)!!

DIANE STOFFEL 3 DAY WORKSHOP
Diane started rug hooking in 1980 and is a certified McGowan teacher. She loves all types of hooking including primitive, oriental, tapestry, portraits, pictorials and wide cuts. Diane is also in love with all the beautiful colors that make a magnificent rug and is an expert in all facets of dyeing. Diane is well known nationwide for her rug hooking expertise and enjoys making class a fun and friendly environment and gives more than 100% of herself in class. Wool & Goods is always happy to have her here!

PROJECT WEDNESDAYS
Every Wednesday, starting January 4 2012, Wool & Goods, in conjunction with Evergreen Country Primitive Quilt Shop, www.myevergreencountryprimives.com , is PROJECT WEDNESDAY. Need help with hooking? Want to finish off a penny rug? Just can’t remember how to thread that Oxford Punch Needle? We are available from 10:00-3:30 every Wednesday for group help!! There are a number of gals that already attend and are working on embellishing, quilting, and needlework. We all help each other! This is for ANY and All Projects. There is no charge for this…just a lot of encouragement!
WEDNESDAY NIGHT HOOKERS
6:00 - 8:00 pm. This class is to help with color planning, rug finishing techniques, and other hooking "how to's". Classes run every other Wednesday for an eight week session. The cost of the class is $60 per session.
